Robin Speno was born and raised in Hebron, Connecticut. She attended Central Connecticut State University as a physical education major and dance minor. After college, Robin enlisted in the United States Navy and served six years as a Radioman, working in Communication Centers in Washington and Pearl Harbor. After being transferred to the White House Communications Agency, Robin and her husband moved to Littlestown, Pennsylvania, where she raised her three children.
Robin owned her own performing arts school in Hanover, PA for 16 years. The School of Music and Dance successfully trained many professional dancers, singers and actors. With over 125 students, 15 teachers, and a non-profit dance company, Nebula Performing Company, the School made a great impact on the community and the families involved. After selling the School to a former student, Robin began to work at Antrim 1844.
In addition to awards and recognition for outstanding choreography on stage, competitions and other facets such as YMCA team gymnastic floor routines and area school’s show choirs, Robin has also trained dance professionals. Her students have performed on the Penn State Dance Team, in Broadway shows, cruise lines, theme parks, and numerous professional dance companies.
