Meg Motter

Born and raised in Harford County, Maryland, Meg Packard-Motter received Bachelor’s Degrees in Piano Performance and Social Work from Western Maryland College (now known as McDaniel College).  She met David as a freshman while playing keyboards in the college jazz band, where he had been volunteering as a community member on trombone.  Passionate about teenagers, the elderly and mental health, Meg holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the School of Social Welfare at the University of Kansas and has spent her career as a State of Maryland employee working in public health.  For more than 35 years, Meg has taught private piano lessons and beginner voice lessons.  Her greatest privilege has been homeschooling Jordan, Jennah and Julianne through high school while they pursued their passions for gymnastics, ballet, swimming, acting, piano, percussion, voice and oboe.
