David Motter received his Master’s Degree in Conducting from the American Band College at Southern Oregon University and his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Frostburg State University.  Born and raised in Taneytown, Maryland, David is a private brass instructor and sales manager at Coffey Music in Westminster, Maryland.  An accomplished trombonist, David performs frequently with various musical groups in the Baltimore, Westminster and Hanover areas.  Hands down, David’s all-time favorite gig is serving as the Worship Leader at his home church in Hanover.  David and wife of 30 years, Meg are the proud parents three fine young adults, Jordan, Jennah and Julianne–all accomplished musicians in their own right.  The Motters became part of the PATABS family when their youngest, Julianne auditioned for The Wizard of Oz in 2016.  The family thoroughly enjoyed watching “Glinda, the Good Witch” and subsequently, “Babette, the Feather Duster“‘ in Beauty and the Beast and looks forward to seeing future performances when Julianne heads off to college this fall.
