Ballet Conservatory Program

The Vault Theater Company is thrilled to announce the launch of the Ballet Conservatory Program. This program is the first of its kind in the area and we are extremely excited to involve our areas youth in this program.

What is The Ballet Conservatory Program?

The program will exist to train the areas dancers in the highest caliber in ballet performances providing ballet training in a community dance program. Students from all dance studios are welcome to audition for this pre-professional ballet program that will consist of technical and performance training. Students will learn from guest instructors who are leaders in the dance community while working toward performing a community dance production. Our program will consist of ballet training, Pointe training, and contemporary training.

When are classes?

Classes will be on Saturday morning’s at a minimum of one Saturday a month to two Saturday’s a month. The classes will be broken down to: Advanced Level, Intermediate Level, Beginner Level and Pre-Level. Students will meet from a two-hour technique class followed by one and half-hour choreography rehearsal.

Who can participate?

Anyone is eligible to audition for this program. Level placement will be based upon auditions, but an approximate beginning age of 6 and up.

We are encouraging dance studios in the area to participate in this community ballet program, to strengthen their student’s technique, to expose them to a pre-professional program, and allow them to share their passion for the arts with their peers.

Audition Information:

Saturday September 30th 2017

Ages 6 and up: 12 PM – 2PM
               *During the audition time, families are asked to stay for an orientation to learn more about the program.

Production:
Alice in Wonderland the Ballet on March 17th 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center.
